Miss Lil A’s Constant Companion – Thanks to Pampers Diapers

Little Miss A recently turned 3. Due to various reasons, she was not toilet and potty trained till her 3^rd birthday. She was not ready to leave her pampers diapers and thus, I was not successful in her training. I did hear a lot of comments and advice from many people, but I have always believed in not forcing her to do things.

The trick with Miss A is that you need to explain her things well in advance and then usually she adjusts to them easily. It happened when I sent her to play school and now with the toilet training. Yes, I could have explained to her earlier too but she was not comfortable sitting on a pot, which she was now. A month before her birthday she was told daily, that she has to say bye-bye to her diapers

once she is three. She was excited about her birthday and also about the new event. So, we finally have stopped using baby diapers during the day and hopefully, will be able to do at night too soon.

How Pampers Diapers helped me in this journey of 3 years?

In this journey of three years, Pamper pants have been a constant and I really need to say thank you to them. Since the day she was born at 34 weeks, we have just used diapers from Pampers. From the new-born size to the XL, to trying to all variants, Pampers has never failed us. Little Miss A was a good baby and started sleeping through the night when she was 4 months old. Till she was 2 months old I was changing her diapers every 3 hours and feeding her too, but then it became feed on demand and when she stopped waking up, we stopped changing diapers too at night.

I was always told to use cloth diapers but with the baby not being able to sleep due to wetness I mostly used pampers diapers since day 1 and I am thankful, I could sleep well and was rarely sleep deprived after the first 4 months.

We used Pampers Active Baby and Pampers Pants, but I will be honest to say the new latest range of Pampers Premium Pants were the best ones we have used. Not that I had any complaint from the other two, these were really amazing. I remember when I went to London in October and used Pampers pants, I could see a big quality difference and was cribbing why we cannot get such amazing baby diapers in India. I was always skeptical if I was irritating her delicate skin with the use of diapers. At night I always used a mild diaper rash cream and we never had diaper rashes. Extremely Soft

As soon as you will touch pampers pants you will feel a difference in the softness, especially around the belt area. These baby diapers are made of very soft material which is breathable too. Unlike other diapers, these are soft all over and not only on the front and back. The brand says, there are micro pores in the material which ensures air circulation. This also makes sure the baby at no point feels wet.

Absorption

Pampers pants work very well for long duration also, as the air channels ensure the pee is distributed evenly and the baby does not feel wet. The urine does not collect at one place making the baby uncomfortable. There is a wetness indicator which turns blue from yellow, showing the diaper can be changed. (I have sometimes used it beyond that too and there were no issues of leakage or discomfort at all). There have been times, Miss A has been in the same diaper for nearly 12 hours and she has been ok. These pants have a gel which absorbs the liquid and converts into gel. When you touch a full diaper, you can feel the gel and not any wetness.

Protection

As I said earlier, I was always worried about the reaction of pampers diapers on the baby’s skin. These come with a layer of lotion with aloevera, it not only has a lovely fragrance but it also acts like a protective layer, thus, reducing any friction. With this diaper, I could stop using diaper rash creams to protect the skin.

No Movement Restriction

The Premium care diaper has a stretchable and very soft waistband which lets the baby move in any way without restricting their movement while play too.

Easy to Dispose

When I am outside the house, I always put the diaper in a disposable bag and then throw. This diaper comes with a disposable tape which seals the diaper and does not spoil the dustbin.
