Akilah Trinay

Oakland native, Akilah Trinay, is the proud mother of 2-year-old Ziana Washington. She was inspired to write a children’s book after exploring the joys and challenges of single motherhood. Akilah Trinay is the author of the fictional urban suspense novel Beyond the Hurt. She also owns Revision Publishing LLC. She resides in the Bay Area with her daughter and supportive family.
